A Closer Look at Atlanta- The Caribbean Diaspora 2

As seen in the table below, Atlanta has a Caribbean population of about 81,000. Dekalb County in Atlanta has been a particularly popular settling area with 16.4% of its population being foreign-born and more than 10% of this foreign population hailing from the English speaking Caribbean (US Census Bureau, 2018).

Under the scope of our current project: The Atlanta Market Research Survey, we are liaising with distributors and other Atlanta organizations to determine a market entry strategy for our clients, through our consultants NexConneX. The great news is that some of the distributors we are communicating with, do not export only to Atlanta but also to Texas, North and South Carolina, Mississippi and other states. Connecting with the right distributor means the prospect of breaking into other Southern states and broadening the reach of T&T exporters in the United States. This initial seminar targeted Food and Beverage manufacturers who are interested in Atlanta and provided all of our market findings on product trends, logistics, distribution channels and market entry requirements.
