Trinidad and Tobago in China!

The China International Import Expo (CIIE) is being hosted by the Ministry of Commerce China and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. It runs from the 5th -10th November, 2018.

Trinidad and Tobago will participate in the Country Pavilion for Trade and Investment at the CIIE, as part of a larger Caribbean Pavilion. The following countries will also be represented in the Caribbean Pavilion – Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, The Bahamas, Grenada, #Guyana, Jamaica, and Suriname. Within the country pavilion countries and regions were invited to showcase their development achievements in the area of trade and investment, including trade in goods and services, industries, investment and tourism.

Within Trinidad and Tobago’s 136 square metres of booth space we are displaying are products from several companies; Food and beverages, chemicals (cosmetics), asphalt, and a model Caribbean Airlines airplane.

This mission is led by the Trade and Industry Minister Honourable Paula Gopee-Scoon and supported exporTT Chairman Ashmeer Mohammed. Look forward to more updates from the coordinating Officer, Roann David.
