exporTT supports TTMA’s Trade Mission to Jamaica

exporTT is excited to participate in TTMA’s Trade Mission to Jamaica which runs from the 17th to the 21st of April, 2018. In this familiar market we look forward to a successful outcome!

During the course of this 5 day Trade Mission led by Permenant Secretary Norris Herbert, exporters of Food and Beverage, Paper, Plastic and Oil and Gas products will engage in Business to Business meetings and survey the market’s current offerings at Expo Jamaica, which begins tomorrow.

The highlight of the first day was an in-market seminar which included welcome and opening remarks by local and Jamaican officials including His Excellency Fitzgerald Jeffery- Trinidad and Tobago High Commissioner to Jamaica, Mr Norris Herbert – Permanent Secretary Ministry of Trade and Industry and Dr. Larry Watson –  President of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce.

Aiding exporters in “Understanding the Jamaican Market” were The Jamaica Customs Agency the National Compliance and Regulatory Authority and JAMPRO whose presentations brought life to the market and business culture and expectations.
