Naed Jasmin Désiré holds a bachelor degree in law from Paris XII University Val de Marne, a Master’s degree in International Law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, a master’s degree in International Trade Law from Paris University Ouest-Nanterre-La Défense, and a Masters in International Development Management from Laval University, Canada. She was sworn in as a lawyer at the Port-au-Prince bar in in August 2012 and worked at the law firm Théard et Associés, particularly in the area of business law. Over the last eight years, she has developed her skills in promoting and facilitating investments, improving the business climate, developing the regulatory and legislative framework for public-private partnerships in Haiti, public law, as a jurist in institutions such as the Investment Facilitation Center, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and as a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank. In March 2017, she launched the law firm Jasmin, Desire et Associés and currently works for the Prime Minister’s Office.
