With FITTskills online courses, you can build your competency anytime, anywhere, no prior learning or pre-requisites required.
FITT STRUCTURE
The FITTskills Certificate in International Trade is self-paced and self-led. Obtaining this certification requires completion of three FITTskills courses. Each course is allotted 3 months for completion. The time required may vary from person to person depending on your study habits and your pre-existing knowledge. This type of flexibility is an added benefit to clients who tend to have an extremely hectic lifestyle.
FITT participants are also supported through topic-specific textbooks in eBook format, guiding notes, case studies, and sample exam questions, along with the responses to the exercises. These additional resources provide participants with an opportunity to apply their learning and verify their progress.
COURSE CONTENT
Participants will earn the FITTskills Certificate in International Trade upon completion of 3 of the 6 FITTskills courses identified below. We generally estimate that it will take 30-45 hours to complete a course if you are completely new to international trade, or closer to 15-20 hours if you already have 2 or more years of experience.

Participants are assessed at the end of each course via an open book multiple-choice exam.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS/ WHO CAN APPLY?
Practicing Export Professionals working for or supporting regional, extra-regional or international export activities of manufacturing organizations or service providers, such as:
- Managers, Officers and Representatives in Export Marketing, Sales and Branding, Business and or Market Development.
PARTICIPANTS MUST:
- Be a national of Trinidad and Tobago
- Be employed at an Exporting Firm for a minimum of one year
- Have a diploma, associates, bachelor degree or equivalency
- Submit one reference from your employer
exporTT will provide scholarships to individuals meeting the above requirements (only 5 available)
